Meghan Frost, LCSW-S
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (License Number: 252980)
Supporting a loved one through their physical or emotional challenges can be overwhelming, but tending to your own well-being during these times isn’t selfish—it’s essential. Prioritizing your mental and emotional health allows you to show up as your best self, both for your family and for you. Let me help you walk through life’s hardships and build positive coping skills along the way.
My passion lies in working with caregivers, especially parents of children with mental health challenges, regardless of age. I can help you navigate trauma that can arise from caregiving and guide them toward cultivating a mindful, balanced life even in the face of hardship.
I’ve been licensed for 8 years and have worked in a variety of settings prior to my current home at True North. I spent 10 years in healthcare as both a social worker and managing other social workers. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of the emotional and practical challenges faced by individuals living with chronic illness.
In therapy, I use a strengths-based, client-centered approach, integrating evidence-based modalities like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work collaboratively with clients to address a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and ADHD. My goal is to support each person in reconnecting with their inner resilience and moving toward meaningful, sustainable healing.
